Finlay is a true gentleman, and despite being in a lot of pain with bilateral elbow arthritis is still desperate to run and play. His owner contacted me as Finlay’s pain had become more pronounced, recent x-rays had confirmed further deterioration of the arthritis and a course of cartrophen had made no noticeable difference.

Finlay is responding very well to acupuncture treatment, whilst acupuncture cannot ‘undo’ bony changes, it can be incredibly effective in pain management.  Since starting treatment, Finlay has been coping much better out on walks and is bouncier and happier in himself. We are currently increasing the time periods between treatments to find the best interval for Finn.
